Culture assessment: UCCAT
We assess culture using the Unobtrusive Corporate Culture Analysis Tool (UCCAT). UCCAT combines AI and psychological theory to measure culture from text that organisations already produce, such as employee feedback, complaints, and recorded dialogue, without the need for new surveys.
UCCAT scores how strongly each sentence reflects particular cultural values, and we pair these scores with qualitative analysis of the story behind the numbers. With it we:
- Profile the values and norms that matter most to employees
- Track how culture shifts over time, and test the effect of interventions or events
- Benchmark teams and organisations against each other and the wider industry
- Detect emerging issues that surveys and managers miss
Findings come as interactive reports with expert interpretation and recommendations for change. We have used UCCAT to help organisations across many sectors evaluate culture and create change.
